📃 News:
To increase awareness related to water consumption, we need to have more books. And Xylem’s Denise Pouleurs published a book for children aged 10 and older, named The Great Book of Water. It’s totally free and you can get the book from the link here.
“An important message of the book is that water is used in everything,” says Pouleurs. “One of the things the book teaches children is about their water footprint, which is about more than the amount of water they use, but about how water is used to produce everything. For example, one apple takes 70 liters of water to produce, while one glass of apple juice takes 190 liters.”
🤔 Idea of the week:
We need to find ways to increase the usage of Hydraloop and similar products in our homes to decrease water usage for flushing the toilet.
